My decision to embark with ADRIAN BOERBOELS LLC was not taken lightly. In order to make a difference, there has to be a difference. You will find that my program is centered on the betterment of the Boerboel through fundamental ideals focused on form/function, character and health of the Boerboel in the company of an accountable breeder.
The difference in a Adrian Boerboel includes:
o all breeding stock are PennHIP and SABT appraised before entering breeding program,
o breeding stock is allowed to mature physically and mentally past the age of two until such a time they are capable of contributing to the Boerboel community,
o breeding based on purpose not population,
o females have limited litters without duplicates,
o puppies are exposed to early neurological stimulation,
o superior puppy nutrition maintained by mothers decision to wean,
o as a Purina Pro Plan Giant Breed Formula Puppy feeder, weaned puppies continue their superior nutrition and are sent home with Puppy Starter Kits,
o puppies have continued contact with their litter mates to further their socializing,
o puppies are placed in homes after the age of 3 months fully vaccinated and have already been spay/neutered and microchiped (over a $600 dollar value),
o select puppies are placed in exceptional Foster Breeding Program homes to monitor their potential and further develop Adrian Boerboels,
o the owner has the ability to receive up to a $300 dollar refund if the puppy is PennHIP certified between the ages of 20-30months of age,
o suitability screening of potential Adrian Boerboel owners for lifetime placement,
o a *full return* on security deposits,
o lifetime support to answer any and all concerns,
o health guaranties to maintain a healthy breed.
*once another buyer is found minus any bank fees on that litter.

I choose to register my dogs with the SABT because the dogs need to be held accountable to an average. While each appraiser compares their “ideal” imaginary Boerboel to the individual dog on hand, it is still one person’s opinion and should be regarded as such. My suggestion to you is that appraisers and breeders focus on different characteristics, and while suggestions should be taken into consideration, find a dog that appeals to you and not an overall score. You will be happier with your dog if it stands out to you.
Potential breeding dogs are allowed to develop until the age of two before litter decisions are made allowing me to view the dog as a whole for its strengths and weaknesses. Health, structure and character take time to development. I spent a lot of time researching pedigrees and waiting for the right combinations before I made my decision on foundation stock, so I have an educated idea of my dogs' potentials.
Most breeders usually have their puppies weaned at 6 weeks of age because they are getting ready to be sold at 8 weeks. The advantage of keeping my puppies on mother's milk longer and in their litter far outweigh any argument, if you could even make one. As a pro-active breeder I feel it necessary to give your puppy every opportunity to succeed in life and without a solid nutritional foundation in the early developmental months, genetic potential is that much harder to achieve. I take personal satisfaction in knowing that your pup was started off in the right direction. I initiate a high-quality diet I know will meet the nutritional requirements of a growing puppy when the time comes. It is very time and financially consuming to do this, but I feel it should become the model. Experience the difference in your puppy.
~People don't drown by falling in the water, they drown by staying there~
As a result of making the puppies available at a later age of 3 months, I am also able to direct the health care they receive. I believe in promotion not population; all puppies are spay/neuter before they leave for their new homes. This also insures the integrity of the Boerboel is maintained; owners get a dog not a right to breed. If you truly feel you are capable of making a contribution to the Boerboel development I also offer a Foster Breeding Program where I place potential breeding dogs at no cost to you. An additional advantage my puppies receive is early neurological stimulation that has been demonstrated to improve cardio vascular performance, stronger heart beats and adrenal glands, and given greater tolerances toward stress and disease.
People will often approach me and ask "What kind of dog is that?", part of owning a rare breed as distinguished as the Boerboel. The next question is "how much are they?", which I respond "priceless." One cannot put a price on the world's greatest dog, but others seem to think so. Commercial gain should never be a part of a breeding program, so as a statement my prices are very competitive. The decision to form an LLC was to ensure the best for my dogs. These great dogs should go to great homes, and part of making sure that happens is suitability screening and making a Boerboel financially attainable. I invested in healthy, athletic, sound individuals with proven pedigrees to build upon. While I do not offer any guarantee of hips, I offer money back for those who PennHIP test once the dog has grown. I offer this because PennHIP is ten times more accurate than OFA and I want to encourage owner responsibility for their dogs' development.
My passions don't end at placement, these are all my dogs and I want to see them grow and give you as much joy as they have given me. There is no greater fulfillment than knowing you feel the same joys, excitements, concerns, laughter and love for your new friend as I do for all of mine. Ask yourself...
...would I want to be my dog?...
If the answer is yes, then experience the difference in an Adrian Boerboel.
